Dear Readers,
I just wanted to let you guys know how totally psyched I am about this organization. I have working very hard on getting so many things done and at the end of the day I can hardly sleep because I am thinking about everything there is to come! It is so cool to see how it all started out and now it is finally turning out. I am really making the commitment to make this organization a personal priority in my life. These past couple of months I have really been thinking on this generation. I was watching "World's Strictest Parents" on CMT and I was thinking how pathetic it is that it is considered strict to not allow drugs, alcohol, smoking and cussing in to your home. Sometimes I forget how much this generation (and world) needs Jesus because I have it so great! Sometimes we forget about the people at school and other places who have a great life, but the don't have a relationship with the Lord. It seems like they are doing just fine, but then when I realize that they are not a Christian it makes me realize they really don't have that true happiness and unfailing love that God brings us once we have made the decision to follow Him.
Well, that was just what I was thinking about this week. Keep praying for the people at your school that aren't saved, even if it is summer!

Hey Everyone!
It's Leigha Briscoe here, the Prez of GOP! I have decided to take this blog into a new direction! Before I was using this blog as a way to keep memebers updated with GP and what all was going on. But now that we have a Twitter, FaceBook and Newsletter I don't think this blog should be used as a newsfeed. I would like this blog to take a more personal approach. I want to tell the readers (you) what I feel like God has a layed on my heart or maybe about an encouraging Bible passage I came across. From now on this is going to be a place where readers can read about personal things going on in my life and our teams lives. I hope you enjoy the new direction this blog is taking!
If you are still wanting to hear about the latest news with the organization, you can follow us on Twitter @GOPSPEAKUP or become a fan of our FaceBook page! Also, be sure to sign up for our monthly newsletter, Speak Up! Thanks everyone!!!
Sincerely,
Leigha Briscoe, Prez
